Amanda is also Adjudicator for the British Dance Council and a Lecturer in Dance at Tyne Metropolitan College and Northumbria University.

Based in Rowlands Gill, this school has been running 18yrs and offers classes in Ballet /Tap/ Disco/ Hip hop/ Cheer leading/ Theatre Jazz and Drama to exam standard with the International Dance Teachers Association. We cater for children and adults from 3yrs upwards and even have our own Boys Only Street class.

Washington Dance Academy is a Full-Time Dance school based in Washington, Tyne and Wear. Susan Pluse established the school in February 2007 at the Harraton Community Centre, Fatfield, and the Millennium Centre, Concord.
We are proud to offer a variety of classes in many different dance styles for children aged from 2 & half years upto Adults.

Our highly trained qualified dance tutors provide lessons in the following subjects: Ballroom, Latin American, Salsa, Classical & Modern Sequence, Disco, Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Tap, Ballet, Performance, Street Cheer & Showcase.

We enrole children 2 & half years - 4 years into our specially tailored Tinkerbell/Peter Pan class, the class teaches pre-school children movement, co-ordination and rhythm, it also gives your children confidence, the ability to develop social skills but more importantly it is FUN! Infants 5yrs - 7yrs, Juniors 8yrs - 12yrs and Seniors 13yrs - 17yrs. We also welcome adults of all ages and abilities.
