A Dance development programme fully supporting OFSTED requirements but also going hand in hand with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Key Stage 1.

It is recommended to improve both physical and mental well-being for mainstream children and Special needs Children. It enhances the development of fine and gross motor skills, hand and eye coordination, Dexterity, and helps children with balance, body co-ordination, stamina and strength.

Argentine Tango Lessons from qualified dance teacher (LRAD/AISTD - 27 years experience - show choreographer/performer)

Come and learn this stylish dance with our friendly, fun lessons - no previous dance experience required, you can start any week and you don`t need to bring a partner!

We teach Argentine Tango in the Nuevo style (this builds on the intensity and passion of classic Argentine Tango, but also opens out to a more dramatic style that can be used in a variety of settings to more contemporary music). We concentrate on really learning to move and improvise/react as a pair rather than just on memorising steps on your own.

Learn the basic steps quickly and easily in the Beginners (Technique) lesson, then move up to more playful footwork and stylish moves in the Intermediate (Steps) lesson. The Freestyle at the end gives you a chance to socialise with others, practice and have fun (although we`ll be on hand to answer any questions or assist with lapses of memory!) It also includes some tracks in other musical styles - Salsa, Modern Jive etc. - to give you a chance to mix your dancing or get a taster for other dance styles.

Doors open 7pm, Beginners 7.15 - 800, Intermediates 8.15 - 9.00, Frestyle from 9.00.
