The Bath Minuet Company are a performance dance company who have been entertaining with authentic eighteenth century dances for more than ten years.

Excepting during August, every first and third Wednesday of the month foundation classes in eighteenth century dance are held at Oldfield Park Methodist Church Hall in Bath. No partner is needed and beginners are most welcome.

We have been teaching ballroom, Latin and salsa from beginners to experienced levels since 1991. We now teach six days a week at four locations in Bristol. Our classes are fun and sociable and well attended. You do not need to come with a partner, you do not need special shoes and should dress casually. You do not have to register or book, just turn up and you pay for each class on the day so you do not pay for any you may miss. We have new beginners classes each term (which start roughly when school terms do). We do not expect beginners to know anything about dancing and start with the complete basics. Experienced dancers should contact us to get details of our higher level classes.
